The Westin Hilton Head Island Resort and Spa has a new look. On Friday, the ribbon was cut with the help of Gov. Nikki Haley. The event marked the reopening of the $30 million renovated resort. Some of the highlights are a panoramic oceanfront restaurant and bar, and a two story vertical garden.
“It just signifies where we are going, where we are headed with revitalization, not only of the resort but with the spearheading of the community involvement and all the other activities that surround it,” said Tim Freisen, Westin Hilton Head Island Resort and Spa general manager.
Freisen says he hopes locals will also come explore the new look and enjoy the changes made to the resort.
