Nashville, TN — Southwest Value Partners (SWVP) today revealed new details about Nashville Yards, a 15-acre, multi-phase development near the heart of downtown Nashville, with the launch of a new website (nashvilleyards.com) and renderings of the project.
“The name ‘Nashville Yards’ pays homage to the site having served as a hub for commerce and travel in Nashville for decades – as a brick yard, marble yard, lumber yard, and rail yard. We want to retain that history and, through responsible and intelligent redevelopment, transform the entry to downtown Nashville into an exceptional experience for the Nashville community, our users and guests,” SWVP co-managing partners Cary Mack and Mark Schlossberg said.
Nashville Yards’ master plan calls for more than 4 million square feet in new retail, hospitality, office, residential, and entertainment uses that will be environmentally sustainable, technologically advanced, and extraordinarily service-oriented.
The new Nashville Yards website features a preview of the design elements and architecture that will be used throughout the project, along with a photo gallery documenting the history of the site. The website also presents new renderings of the 591-room, full-service Hyatt Regency hotel that will occupy the northwest corner of the property at Broadway and 10th Avenue. The 23-story Hyatt Regency will be the third-largest hotel in Nashville and offer the second-largest meeting space in the city, with more than 65,000 square feet of flexible, mixed-use banquet and conference room facilities.
SWVP has aligned with several local companies to support the development of Nashville Yards. Gresham Smith and Partners is the lead architect for the project; Hawkins Partners manages urban and landscape planning; Ragan Smith is Civil Engineering; Alvine Engineering is mechanical engineering; and Colliers International provides brokerage services. Legal representation and advisory is provided by Charles Robert Bone, CEO of Bone McAllester Norton, and Stones River Group is providing public affairs counsel and support.
